WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Here are the main key activities of the position:

  • Examines documentation and claims for authenticity, validity and completeness of information/documents submitted and refers them for decision.
  • Creates electronic or physical record folders and assemble, archive and maintain them.
  • Search, cross reference, compile, update, validate and process data from various automated systems and databases and addresses discrepancies or anomalies.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Production based office environment (high volume intake and output as well as established production targets).  
    A busy office environment where you will be involved in a variety of tasks including creating applications in a database, updating information or mailroom activities.  Teamwork and staying organized are key to keeping things running smoothly.
  • Please note that due to the nature of the work at CPC Edmonton (Case Processing Centre Edmonton), this is a hybrid position that does include in office presence and telework.

INTENT OF THE PROCESS

This process will primarily be used for Casual, Term, and Indeterminate employment opportunities within the IRCC Case Processing Center Edmonton (CPCE).

A pool will be created and may be used to fill similar positions within IRCC.

EDUCATION

  • EDU1 Successful completion of two years of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience

OFFICIAL LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY

EXPERIENCE

  • EX1. Experience providing support such as data entry, filing, preparing documents, or typing using the MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
